These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) govern your access to and use of the website http://heftn.com (‘Website’) and the event-registration services offered on it. The Website is owned and operated by C.C. Business Support, a partnership firm registered in India having its registered office at Old Door No. 9, 7th Street, Lake Area, Nungambakkam, Chennai – 600 034, Tamil Nadu, India (referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, or ‘the Firm’). By accessing or using this Website, you (‘User’, ‘you’, ‘your’) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.

This Website is used solely to enable users to register and pay for events organised by Hindu Economic Forum Chennai. The Firm collects event-registration payments on behalf of Hindu Economic Forum Chennai as its authorised event-registration partner. The Website does not offer membership enrolment, donations, sponsorships, or stall/exhibition bookings — those are handled through separate channels.

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to register for an event on this Website. By registering, you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement.

To register for an event, you may be required to provide certain information including your name, contact details, organisation, and payment information. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information at the time of registration;
• Use the registration / e-ticket only for the named registrant — registrations are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted in writing;
• Abide by the event-specific code of conduct, dress code, security checks, and any other terms communicated at the time of registration or at the venue.

All payments on this Website are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms of use and privacy policy. The Firm does not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials on its servers. Your registration is deemed complete only when funds are successfully received and a confirmation is generated and emailed to you.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refunds Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

We reserve the right to change the date, time, venue, format (in-person / virtual), speaker line-up, or programme of any event for reasons including but not limited to force majeure, regulatory requirements, or operational considerations. Where such changes materially affect a registered attendee, the refund rules in the Cancellation & Refunds Policy will apply.

You agree not to:

• Use the Website or the event for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Website, its servers, or networks connected to it;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Website or related systems;
• Upload, post, or transmit any material that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable;
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Website without our prior written consent.

All content on this Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, software, and the compilation thereof — is the property of the Firm, Hindu Economic Forum Chennai, or their respective licensors, and is protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. Event recordings and photography taken at events organised by Hindu Economic Forum Chennai may be used for promotional purposes; by registering, you consent to such use.

The Website and the event-registration services offered on it are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Firm, its partners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or your attendance at any event. Our total aggregate liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant event registration.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Firm, its partners, employees, and agents, and Hindu Economic Forum Chennai, from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at our sole discretion, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties.
